EDITORIAL LAYOUT – Vector & Typography

Boldly going where no bunny has gone before! Just a fun illustration 🙂

I have a passion for print and page layout. I love fitting pieces of content together for an aesthetically guided reading experience. Also a HUGE fan of white space, pops of color, and stock imagery. It’s great that Adobe now offers stock images with your subscription.

The stock image I used in this layout was part of a collection of FREE Remote Work Illustrations by Obilik Studio. I re-colored her Illustrator. The full set of 25 stock illustrations can be found by clicking the link above or the graphic below!

EDITORIAL ARTWORK – Workplace Drama

A set of judgmental faces for an editorial piece about rude, unprofessional bullying in the workplace. Created with several sketches by hand, traced in Illustrator and added color! Used dramatic red for the mean faces and kept the color palette limited.

FIRST TATTOO DESIGN!

One my best friends approached me to hand draw a an idea she had for a tattoo. She showed me several that she already liked, but the problem was, they were neither her NOR her dog. Her dog is named CHUNK and he is so handsome!

This is so special for me, not only because it a FIRST design someone has ever gotten as a tattoo, but that it was exactly as she imagined. Here is the final product….

SMT TURKEY TROT – CRANBERRY CHALLENGE SHIRT DESIGN

And last but not least, I was graciously asked to create a shirt design for the CHAKA CROSSFIT Thanksgiving Day SMT TURKEY TROT “Cranberry Challenge”. The Cranberry Challenge equips 5k runners with pumpkins they must carry along as they run. The pumpkins are then used as weight for various obstacle and fitness challenges. The main idea was a turkey lifting a barbell of pumpkins. Here is the design in print:
